Employment Opportunity - Rink 02 Operator
The Town of Trenton is accepting applications for a Rink 02 Operator at the Trenton Minor Sports Community Centre in accordance with CUPE Local 281.
The successful candidate will perform a variety of functions associated with the operation of the rink, including but not limited to: capacity to operate and service the Zamboni, prepare the rink facility as required by rink users, receipt and record money received, allocate dressing room keys and clean and inspect after each usage along with regular facility cleaning and maintenance duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12 & valid driver license.
- Previous rink experience would be an asset
- Weekend schedule mandatory (Friday to Monday)
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Good communication skills (both verbal & written)
- Have or willing to obtain safety certificates & added training
