The Trenton Fire Department (TFD) was established in 1911 and has been providing exceptional service to our community and surrounding areas of Pictou County. TFD currently consists of 29 members under the direction of Fire Chief Wayne Allain, Deputy Fire Chief Raymond Anderson, as well as two Captains, and two Lieutenants. The Trenton Fire Department is currently at full complement and therefore not recruiting new members at this time.

TFD responds to a variety of emergency calls and situations, including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, and more. Trenton is very active in the Pictou County Firefighters Association and provides mutual aid and support to neighbouring fire departments.
