Audit Committee Membership

The Town of Trenton is in the process of establishing an audit committee for the Town and as such is seeking the participation of qualified individuals to be part of an important role within the Town’s mandate for accountability, ensuring the appropriate controls and systems are in place, and to ensure that the Town is aligned with the mandate of the Municipal Government Act.
This role is an advisory role to the Town Council as well as to offer advice on other financial matters that the Town Council would seek as recommendation. Ideally the candidates will have some financial and/or managerial background as to the requirement. Training will be provided.
This is for a two-year term with opportunity for extended term.
