Pictou County Transit (PCT) is a one-hour bus loop between the towns of Stellarton & New Glasgow that runs Monday to Saturday, 7:00am to 9:00pm. It hits all seven major destinations in Pictou County (Highland Square Mall, Aberdeen Business Centre, NSCC, Aberdeen Hospital, Pictou County Wellness Centre, Atlantic Superstore, Downtown New Glasgow) every hour. PCT has nine fixed stops, and a large portion of the route is flaggable, meaning you can stand on the side of the road and flag the bus down. The PCT bus is a Wi-Fi hotspot so you can surf the web for free while on the bus.
PCT Bus Fees - $3.00 per stop or $7.50 for a day pass.
Residents can pay on the bus by cash, debit, or credit card.
Monthly passes can also be purchased at the Town Hall’s in both Stellarton (250 South Foord Street) and New Glasgow (111 Provost Street).
