  • Soup & Stew
  • Canned Meat & Fish
  • Canned Fruit & Vegetables
  • Peanut Butter
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Cereal
  • Baby Food

All items collected will be donated to the Pictou County Food Bank East.

Food Bank Hours of Operation:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8:30am to 11:30am.

The Pictou County Food Bank East serves hundreds of families throughout Pictou County each month, including those from the Town of Trenton. Some households require regular monthly supplementary assistance whereas others need assistance only once. Food banks are not a solution to poverty but are a necessity for many. This includes seniors, single parents, the working poor, the disabled, and some on social assistance. 40% of people helped are children. The food bank is a not-for-profit agency that receives no government funding for its day-to-day operations, relying on generous donors to help provide food for those in need.
